Emily And Jeff Fall Out Of The Tree

What is going on with reality TV hook-ups these days? Less than 3 months after getting engaged on July 22, The Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard and Jef Holm have called it quits. Instead of love and marriage, it’s another one bites the dust! The Bachelor curse has reared its ugly head once more!

According to US Weekly, Maynard was caught with her hand in the cookie jar so to speak, some time back. She was caught in the act of exchanging text messages of an explicit nature with Matt Leinart, quarterback for the Oakland Raiders, which ‘of course’ led to a huge fight between her and Holm on August 19.

Even though Maynard broke Holm’s trust, the couple have tried ‘at least for appearances sake’ to smooth things over and work it out. The couple sat down with Wetpaint in September to discuss rumors surrounding cracks in their relationship. Jef said, “I don’t want anyone to have this image that we’re this perfect couple, you know. We’re people and we’re striving to do our best. But we’re like anyone else in the word; we’re not perfect. But we’re happy, we’re extremely happy.”

“Right, we’re figuring it out. We’re just figuring it out.” Emily added.

But then on October 4 while at a charity event sponsored by Holm’s Company, People Water in Laguna Beach, CA, Holm took it upon himself to get his flirt on with a woman who closely resembled Maynard. A witness reportedly said, “He touched her hip and pulled her toward him.”

Was this payback for Maynard’s indiscretion with Leinart?

Multiple sources confirm that Maynard and Holm have officially ended their engagement. Holm’s ex-girlfriend Kaylee Shepherd said that she and Jef had a heart-to-heart talk about his and Maynard’s relationship. “Jef said their relationship isn’t what it seems. It’s basically for TV.”

Holm updated his relationship status on Facebook from ‘engaged’ to ‘single’ on Tuesday, all but confirming the split. – Reality TV Magazine
