The new cast was announced this morning on Good Morning America. Who will win the coveted mirror ball trophy this season?
Here are the pairings:
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Sasha Farber:
The reality TV star and pint-size powerhouse, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, takes to the dance floor with pro partner Sasha Farber. It’s Farber’s first-time as a “DWTS” pro this season after putting in a few seasons as a troupe dancer.
Leah Remini, Tony Dovolani:
“The King of Queens” star Leah Remini will dance with pro partner Tony Dovolani. Dovolani, a veteran pro, who took home the mirrorball trophy in the show’s all-star edition.
Keyshawn Johnson, Sharna Burgess:
Keyshawn Johnson will team up with pro dancer Sharna Burgess, who made her pro debut last season with comedian Andy Dick. Burgess performed for three years on the “DWTS” dance troupe.
Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Valentin Chmerkovskiy:
Actress Elizabeth Berkley Lauren of “Saved by the Bell” fame is paired up with pro dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Chmerkovskiy has been a top three finalist for the past two seasons and returns for his fifth season overall.
Jack Osbourne, Cheryl Burke:
TV personality Jack Osbourne, the 27-year-old son of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon, partners up with veteran Cheryl Burke. The two-time pro champ Cheryl Burke, who won two seasons back to back, returns for her 16th season.
Corbin Blue, Karina Smirnoff:
Disney star Corbin Blue, best known for his role as Chad in the “High School Musical” franchise, is matched up with pro Karina Smirnoff. Smirnoff, took third place with contestant Jacoby Jones last season and returns for her 14th season.
Christina Milan, Mark Ballas:
Singer Christina Milan is paired up with two-time champ Mark Ballas, who returns for his 13th season. The “DWTS” pro dancer most recently won the season 8 mirrorball trophy with Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
Brant Daugherty, Peta Murgatroyd:
“Pretty Little Liars” star Brant Daugherty will dance with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd.
Bill Nye, Tyne Stecklein:
TV personality Bill Nye known as “The Science Guy” will team up with first-time professional partner Tyne Stecklein.
Comedian Bill Engvall is paired up with newbie, Emma Slater, who is joining the pro ranks after a few seasons as a troupe dancer.
“Glee” star Amber Riley will dance with reigning season 16 pro champ Derek Hough. Hough, a veteran, is the only dancer to lay claim to four mirrorball trophies!
Actress Valerie Harper, beloved for her role as Rhoda Morgenstern on the classic TV sitcom “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” will dance with pro partner Tristan MacManus. Diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier this year, Harper, 74, has exceeded doctors’ expectations and continues to be optimistic about her prognosis. The Irish pro dancer returns for his fifth season on the show. The Irish pro dancer has partnered up with past contestants Dorothy Hamill, Pamela Anderson, Gladys Knight and Nancy Grace.
